Filips Solovjovs was born in 1985. He studied Philosophy at the University of Tartu and photography at the Tartu Art College Pallas. After graduating from the college in 2011, Filips began working on personal photo projects in Estonia, Latvia, Israel, Portugal, and Scotland. As an artist, Filips strives to create works that evoke a sense of peace. He uses simplicity as the foundation of his compositions. Filips believes that a great work of art affects the viewer and provides not only aesthetic pleasure but also inspires reflection and stimulates the imagination. He currently lives in Riga, Latvia, with his family.
