Henry Preiss (born 1973) studied scenography at the Latvian Academy of Art (1992–1998) and continued his studies at Central Saint Martins in London, where he obtained a Master’s degree in scenography in 2001. After completing his studies, he lived and worked in London before later relocating to the United States.Preiss’s works are held in the Saatchi Collection in London, the University of the Arts London collection, Zuzeum, the collections of Irina and Māris Vītols, and other art collections. The artist is mentioned in the publication 100 Painters of Tomorrow by renowned gallerist and curator Kurt Beers, published by Thames & Hudson. He currently lives and works in the United States.

The artist is also featured in  "100 Painters of Tomorrow"
