Envija has chosen to use only her given name as her artistic signature. In 2021, she graduated from the Painting Department of the Art Academy of Latvia. She expanded her painting knowledge at the Gdańsk Academy of Fine Arts (2014–2015). Since 2013, she has participated in several group exhibitions in Latvia, Lithuania, and Poland, and has held four solo exhibitions.
"The painting by the painter Envija is juicy and sweet as sin and pineapple: "Thank you, Snake", "Thank you Snake", a witty slur in quotes from culture, literature and painting, - without losing, but gaining Envija's own originality, recognizable sense of color and bright handwriting. The references to the Bible and the Garden of Eden in the painting create a timeless gratitude for the temptation of imagination and desire, color and painting, and lead us to think about the multi-layered sin, the abundance of Paradise, the forgiveness of sins and necessity not only in the plot of the painting, but also in the technical interplay of the painting with the contribution of old masters and modern grand masters to the development of painting. The painter Envija is the owner of the brightest handwriting in Latvian painting, with her fresh and professional interpretation of painting she delights regular exhibitions in Riga, Latvia and the world."Valters Dakša
