WE ARE ACCEPTING ARTWORKS FOR UPCOMING AUCTION
Twenty years ago, Gallery Birkenfelds organized its first public art auction. Over time, these auctions became an important part of the Latvian art market, and new players entered the field, together creating an interesting and diverse art market landscape.The rapid development of the internet has greatly expanded the possibilities for auctions, while the Covid-19 pandemic made the online environment a safe and convenient place for transactions. However, as time went on, both sellers and buyers began to feel how much they missed personal contact, face-to-face communication, and the exchange of information in person.
After all, we are human — and we need real connection and shared experiences. A live auction is not just a transaction; it is a wonderful opportunity for the exchange of experience, information, and creative energy.
