“Blue Irises is a plein air painting created in a garden, in direct contact with living flowers. For the artist, living flowers are a constant source of inspiration—by observing and painting them, they transform into floral portraits with their own character, mood, and atmosphere. The chosen background lends the work a sense of decorativeness and abstraction. When painting flowers, I can fully express myself—capturing the floral motifs, colors, and details created by nature; flowers always inspire and evoke the desire to paint them. The work reveals a dialogue between nature, color, and the artist’s inner perception."
