NICO

Nico was born in La Réole in 1975. After studying graphic design in Bordeaux, he moves to Dublin in 1999 where he works as a graphic designer for a Whisky company. Mad about drawing, he discovers the work of clay during a several months trip to New Caledonia. He then settles in Milan in 2002 where he fully dedicates to ceramics. He gets his first solo exhibition in the Frida Cultural Center. Another trip to Asia will help him to deepen and personalize his work. Living in France since 2004, he gradually leaves aside ceramics and starts to work first out of resin then out of wood. His works are also currently on display in Paris.
